Versoft Oy Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how and when Versoft Oy (hereinafter: “we” or “Versoft” ) collects, uses, and shares information through the services we are offering. Services includes all web services and mobile apps which we are publishing (hereinafter the “Services” or “Apps”). Apps are intended for business use, not for consumer use. Versoft recognizes the importance of protecting any information collected from the users of its Services, and has adopted this Privacy Policy to inform users about the types of information Versoft gathers about users of the Services, how Versoft may use that information, and any disclosures Versoft may make of the information.

Information Collection and Use

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, the term “personal information” refers to personally identifiable information through which a user can be identified as an individual. The term “non-personal information” refers to information that does not directly identify a user.

Versoft’s role: Versoft does not collect personal information for it’s own purposes, but Versoft offers a service to their business customers, how uses the system for their own business actions. These business actions include collecting personal information of the users as part of the normal and intentional use of the Service.  

Purpose of the Services: Services are meant for business use. Therefore, our customer company has agreed that the service is being used by their employees or sub-contractors, and their personal data will be used and collected for the sake of the operational processes performed with the Service. Any Personal imformation is being collected only for desired and necessary use of the Services.

Personal Information: We collect names, phone numbers, email addresses and current location. For example, we collect information when a users requests customer support or otherwise communicates with us. The types of information we may collect include your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide. We use this information to respond to your questions or concerns. We use the users’ name to identify the user in the system, or identify data records belonging to the user. We use real-time location to provide the location of the user to other users in the system for resource management purposes. 

Non-Personal Information: We also collect non-personal information about the mobile devices or computers used to access and interact with the Services. We use this information, including unique device identifiers and IP addresses, solely in order to support the operations of and improve the Services, to customize the Services, and to provide customer support. In addition to device and application identifiers and IP addresses, the non-personal information we collect includes mobile network information, and information about the device such as its hardware model, operating system and version.

Third-Party Services: Versoft uses a variety of third-party services to help provide and improve the Services, including to help us understand the use of the Services. These third-party service providers may use cookies and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Services, including IP address, device and application identifiers, and actions taken in the app, but they do not collect any personal information.

Cross-Site/App and Location Data: The Services does not collect information about user activities over time and across third-party websites, applications, or other online services. Location data is collected and used only by the system and shared to the necessary users of the system, but it is not shared outside the system without user’s consent. 

When data is collected: Data is collected when the Services are being used. This also includes occurrences, when eg. the used App is on the background. Any of the Service does not collect any data, if they are shut off or their substantial use has been terminated.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Your Consent: We may share or disclose information at your direction.

Service Providers: We engage service providers to perform functions and provide services to us. We may share information with such service providers solely for our internal use, and on the condition that the third parties use the data only on our behalf, pursuant to our instructions, and subject to confidentiality obligations consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Law and Harm: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Privacy Policy, we may preserve or disclose information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect our rights or property. However, nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any legal defenses or objections that you may have to a third party’s, including a government’s, request to disclose your information.

Business Transfers: In the event that Versoft is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. The promises in this Privacy Policy will apply to information as transferred to the new entity.

Modifying or Deleting Information

Apart from normal modifying and deletion of user informational being part of normal intentional usage of the system, user can request to delete their personal data. This process shall be started together with the other contract party of the agreement, which the Service provision is part of, meaning the person’s employer or supercontractor. Versoft has right to plan the data deletion’s schedule and processes and use pseudonymisation, if deletion is not possible.

Data Retention

Data is stored in our systems for an indefinite time. 

Changes to this Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the policy will govern our use of your information and will always be at If we make a change to this policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to the Versoft website). By continuing to access or use the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
